4. Add every signer and send.

Check the player, agent and any club contact who must sign. If the player is under 18, add their guardian. Set the signing order, confirm each email address and send one signature request to all relevant parties.

When an agreement ends

Terminating an agreement starts the record.

Record the termination date and who ended it on a representation or standalone agreement, and Relai asks you to generate a Termination report for that date. The report records the expenses the player acknowledged and the ones they did not, the agreements that ended and the commission terms that continue, and cites each sealed document by hash. It is part of the Player expenses module.

Frequently asked questions

Is an electronic signature valid for a representation agreement?

Relai uses simple electronic signatures with an audit certificate, which UK and EU law recognise. Check your association's requirements, and have a lawyer review anything you rely on.

Does Relai lodge the agreement with The FA?

No. Lodging stays your responsibility. Relai keeps the signed copy ready on the record.

Can I use my own agreement?

Yes. Create a template with your wording and insert fields from the record.

What happens to the templates when The FA updates its forms?

The standard form updates, and your fork shows that a newer version is available. Your wording never changes without you.

Is it on every plan?

Generating and downloading are on every plan. Solo includes five documents a month sent for signature, and Agency and Scale are unlimited.
