Feature · Connected inbox

The deal is in your inbox.

Connect your own Gmail, Outlook or WhatsApp. Relai turns the emails and messages you send it into proposals you approve, each with the message attached as evidence.

Browsing never runs AI. Only the messages you send to Relai are scanned. Gmail, Outlook and WhatsApp.

Messages

Your inbox, inside Relai.

A sporting director sends the brief by email. A club names a number on WhatsApp. The deal happens in your inbox, and copying it into records was nobody’s job. Messages shows your own accounts inside Relai. Choose the emails and messages that matter, and send them to Relai as one captured source.

  • SelectedHelena MarshMon 16:05We are looking for a left-footed full-back for January, under 24 and comfortable in a back three. A loan with an option would work, or a permanent deal up to £1.2m.
  • Not selectedYouMon 17:30Thanks Helena. Is the option a fixed fee, and would you cover his full wages on a loan?

How it works

Connect, send, approve.

Each person connects their own accounts. Browsing is only browsing. A scan saves the messages you send to Relai as one captured source, and AI reads that source and nothing more.

Proposals wait for you.

The scan saves first, then reads. The source stays in your Inbox whatever the scan finds.

The Inbox

Every proposal quotes its line.

A scanned message can propose a club requirement, a task, a new contact, a contract date or a deal update. Each one quotes the words it came from. Approve it and the shared record updates, with the message as its source. Reject it and nothing changes.

The trust layer

Relai scans only what you send it.

Your captured sources and your Inbox are private to you. Connections are hosted by our messaging provider, which can reach the connected account’s messages. Relai saves and scans only the messages you send to it, and Settings explains this before you connect. Disconnect and Relai’s access ends at once; what you captured stays.

Frequently asked questions

Does Relai read my whole inbox?

No. Browsing shows your messages inside Relai without saving them or running AI. Only the messages you send to Relai are saved, as one captured source, and only that source is scanned by AI.

How does the connection work, and who hosts it?

Connections are hosted by our messaging provider. Gmail and Outlook connect when you authorise it with Google or Microsoft, and your password stays with them. WhatsApp connects as a linked device: you scan a QR code from WhatsApp’s Linked devices screen. The provider holds the linked session, so it can reach the account’s messages, not only the ones you send to Relai. Relai keeps only the messages you send to it. Settings explains this before you connect.

Can my colleagues see my messages?

No. Your messages, your captured sources and your Inbox are private to you. A member asks an owner or admin to approve a connection. Owners and admins see who has connected which channel and its status. They cannot browse your messages. A shared record changes only when you approve a proposal.

What happens when I disconnect?

Relai’s access ends at once, and Relai asks our messaging provider to remove the hosted connection. The sources you captured stay in your Inbox as evidence. To connect again, you sign in or scan a new QR code.

What does each plan include?

Every seat connects its own WhatsApp and one Gmail or Outlook inbox. Scale seats can connect two Gmail or Outlook inboxes. Scanning uses AI credits, and one credit is roughly one message scan. Solo includes 300 credits a month. Agency adds 300 a month for each seat and Scale adds 400, shared by the whole workspace. Browsing never uses credits. If credits run out, the messages you send to Relai are still saved, and you can scan them once credits reset.

What about attachments, voice notes and group chats?

Relai captures the text of the messages you send to it. You can open attachments while you browse, but they are not captured, and nor are voice notes or other media. WhatsApp group chats are not listed. You reply in Gmail, Outlook or WhatsApp as you do today.
